COIN, maundy fourpence, UK, 1896

A silver Maundy money fourpence coin. Obverse features a Veiled and Draped bust of Queen Victoria, and the lettering 'VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP'. The reverse features a crowned '4' and divided date, all within a wreath. This coin has medal orientation and has a hole at the top of the coin, suggesting it was used as some form of jewellery.
