Advertisement for Bicentennial Events in WA in 1988 produced for the Western Australia Council of the Australian Bicentennial Authority. Across top left reads, in blue: '200 GREAT BICENTENNIAL EVENTS/ IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA FOR 1988'. Top right in smaller red lettering: 'THE WESTERN AUSTRALIA GOVERNMENT/ IS PROUDLY SUPPORTING 18 MAJOR/ PROJECTS FOR THE BICENTENARY'.
Down the right side are the numbers one to eighteen in black and to the right of each number is the title of one of the events supported by the government. Print is a paper collage in green, yellow, purple, blue, brown, orange and black. Background of print shows horizontal uneven stripes in these colours. Over this in large letters of swirls of these bright colours reads 'WA', to the right is a flower with a star on it. Below is a very large '8'. Next to these is a circle with patches of pink, yellow, red, brown and blue, above two curls which curl in opposite directions.
Below this in 6 columns of small black lettering is a list of the 200 Bicentennial Events in W.A.
The bottom of the 5th column is the green, gold and white striped, stylised map of Australia with 'AUSTRALIA/ 1788-1988' written in green below and which is the symbol for the Australian Bicentennial Authority.
