BANDOLIER
H1994.55
Leather Bandolier designed to hang from the left shoulder across the body. There is a small strap hanging down from the bottom of the 'triangle' loop which attaches to the waist belt to prevent 'flopping' when riding. The bandolier consists of nine pouches (90 rounds of ammunition). Belt marked 'AUSTRALIA/ broad arrow/ JH'.
Marked on back of pouches - 'W26206 WA JESSUP'.
Nine pouch bandoliers replaced five pouch (fifty rounds) type sometime between 1903-1915.
