PAMPHLET, a guide for dogmen and cranechasers

Title is 'A Guide for / Dogmen and Cranechasers' and was put out by the Department of Labour and Industry and Social Welfare of N.S.W. The booklet describes the duties of a dogman or cranechaser, and the aspects of their work they must be able to do. There are pages giving the standard weights of materials, hand signals of the association, and the bell or whistle codes. The booklet gives useful information such as how to tie various knots, and how to attach the loads, and the maximum weights of loads. Also some pictures of dogmen at work.
