BANNER SKETCH
H1993.56
Pencil sketch on white paper. Shows man fitting a dome-shaped cover over a chimney/ exhaust outlet/ ventilator. The man has both hands on the dome, and one foot is on either side of the object, one slightly raised as he is standing on an uneven surface. The man is wearing sleeveless overalls (not bib and brace) typical of the plumbing, gasfitting, electrical and allied trades. He has a short-sleeved shirt or t-shirt underneath the overalls. He appears to be wearing elastic-sided work boots. The sketch is signed: 'LS Mar 89'.
