18 ca gold with decorative leafy design on edge. Goldsmiths marks: crown and '18' inside back cover. Same on ring and winder neck with 'JR' on neck also. 'Rothermans/London' inscribed on works. White enamel front with black Roman figures and 'Rothermans' in black. Back inscribed: 'A SOUVENIR/TO/MRS MURPHY/THE FIRST LADY TO REACH/COOLGARDIE/OCTOBER 1892/FROM THE PIONEERS OF THE FIELD.'
