PRINTS, framed, of Swans

H1991.8.a-b

A pair of framed prints of two white swimming swans, covered with glass. Frames are black painted wood with an elaborately carved inner border of gold. Corners of frames are well joined. On both, the backing tape is breaking away around the top of the print, and there are hooks and wire for hanging. a) To the right of swans, a tall tree with leaves of dull red-brown & gold. There is a stone bridge behind and the print is full of pink tones. b) The tree near the swans is white / grey / blue with gold leaves. Ferns in front LH foreground. Light is more subdued although the sky is pink tinged. Paintings are of the 'commercial' type.
