BAG, Evening
H1991.35
This handbag was part of an outfit worn by Dame Alexandra Hasluck and detailed in H90/0388. Bag opens along one long edge fastening with gold clasps. Short handle is attached to one side. The outside of the bag is covered with gold textured lame fabric with an insert of plain lame on one side. The inside of the bag is light brown rayon fabric. Adhesive label with 'RAYON BRITISH MADE' and the name and place of manufacture.
