CARD, BUILDING UNIONS' SUPERANNUATION

White plastic card about the same size as an automatic teller card. Issued by the ACTU. Details are as follows: NAME : ROSS FREDERICK PEET / DATE OF BIRTH : 02/10/61 / DATE JOINED: 26/04/85 / MEMBERSHIP NUMBER: / 30076C" The personal information is impressed into the card so it stands out. On the right hand side is the logo : it is circular in form, shows low and high buildings at the top, then has the letters "BUS" in large black printing. Below this is "BUILDING UNIONS / SUPERANNUATION". At the bottom of the circle is a small black circle with a white kangaroo in it with the letters "ACTU" next to it. Information on the reverse includes "IF THIS CARD IS FOUND return it to the Colonial Mutual Life / Assurance Society Limited office in your state. / USE OF THIS CARD: / When any matters arise relating to the Building Unions Superannuation, this card is proof of your membership identity. / When changing addresses or other details; or when claiming / benefits ALL details on this card must be used. To prevent / fraudulent use - keep this card in a secure place with your / Union Ticket." At the bottom right corner is "JENKIN SECURITY". The card belonged to Ross Peet a plumber who works in Perth or up north, and lives in Margaret River when he has time free. He has worked on the Princess of Wales wing at Fremantle Hospital, the Merlin Hotel and the R & I tower behind the Palace Hotel.
