Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Wooden box with handle of frayed belting. Contains 5 Eveready dry cells. Has dial at front; interior of box has compartment built around switch mechanism operated by this dial. There are also 2 wires on front beneath dial for attaching detonator wires; the batteries inside box are bolted to box at level of external detonator wires; the batteries are also attached to dial's internal mechanism by wires. This object is used to detonate explosives with power supplied by dry cell batteries.
