Metal box contains telephone set "D.M.K.V. / P.M.G.'s W / 5, SYD. / SER.NO. 3303 / 1940". Front lid has diagram of circuit unit and instructions for use. Box contains telephone and cord & tapping mechanism container with two dry cell batteries " DIAMOND" brand "CELL DRY / MK II(AUST.) / WIDDIS DIAMOND / DRY CELLS PTY LTD / MELBOURNE" & b containing magnetic coils. Fabric strap is attached to side of box with belt straps attached to back.
