MITRE TEMPLET
H1989.217
Wood templet, L shaped in section with both ends cut at an angle of 45 degrees. Used for guiding a chisel when cutting mitres worked in the solid moulding which, owing to their situation could not be trimmed with the plane. Stamped 'K.C.S.'on top and bottom.
