Belonged to Garnet Stephens, a Kalgoorlie barber. Stephens is listed in the 1917 Western Australian Post Office Directory as " Stephens, GW, tob & hrdsr, 13 Hannan St, Kalg". Probably worn at his work as a barber. White cotton. Open at top front fastening with two buttons and collar. Buttons holes at neck for attaching collar. Long sleeves with turnback cuffs. Maker's label: "THE FUSILIER / TRADE MARK / SHIRT (picture of soldier in uniform with gun)".
