Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Red and white horizontally striped ranging poles: wooden painted tubes: a. Has metal spike and tube at bottom and has "4" in red on white stripe. b. Has no metal attachments c. As a. but has "2" in red on white stripe d. Has metal tip but no spike, has "2" in red on white stripe e. Has metal tip but no spike, has "4" in red on white Ranging poles are surveying pegs; these are used for above ground surveying. Also known as picket poles; Dictionary; "a sighting pole used in surveying for marking off points in the field being surveyed."
