Medal issued to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII 1902. Spade shaped bronze medal featuring on the obverse side the side bust portraits of Alexandra & Edward VII surmounted by a large crown & surrounded by the caption "EDWARD VII AND ALEXANDRA CROWNED / 1902". Reverse: "EDWARD VII / KING AND EMPEROR ACCESSION 22.1.1901 / CORONATION GOD SAVE THE KING / AUSTRALIAN / COMMONWEALTH / CELEBRATIONS". Similar to H86/338. Minted - Stokes & Son, 29 Little Collins St, Melb.
