Medal issued to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII. Spade shaped gilded bronze featuring on the obverse side the side bust portrai of Alexandra Edward VII surmounted by a large crown & surrounded by the captio "ALEXANDRA * CORONATION * EDWARD VII * 1902". Reverse side caption: "EDWARD VI / KING AND EMPEROR / ASCENSION 22.1.1901 / CORONATION 26.6.1902 / GOD SAVE THE KING / AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH / CELEBRATIONS". Minted by Stokes & Son, 29 Little Collins St, Melb."
