'SUNLIGHT' 1897 YEARBOOK

Red hard cover book with title year, and a picture of the globe on the front cover. Title: the 'Sunlight' year-book for 1897. The book is described as 'A treasury of useful information of value to all members of the household'. It includes a calendar and 'kindred matter'.
'Sunlight' is a brand name for soap, and throughout the book are ads for 'Sunlight soap'. Book includes items about fashion, sport, amusements, gardening, pets and domestic animals, games, literature, interior decorating and politics as well as items concerning the Army, Navy and Trade. Book also includes portraits and illustrations. Published by Port Sunlight, Lever Brothers Ltd.
