Lilac ground with moulded pansies in purple, yellow and pink. Basket work around base, handle and rim. Impressed mark ' COPELAND' and crown. Lozeng registration mark for 13 Feb 1864. Copeland mark used until 1867. Ref. Godden, Encyclopaedia, page 171, no. 1069. Listed in Christie's sale catalogue 16 Aug. 1979, Lot. 226 a. Patter No. D4115.
