Oval shaped dish with moulded fluted edge, originally gilded. Yellow border with Chinoiserie flowers. (Pattern in underglaze black, printed and han coloured over the glaze. Printed mark on base "ADAMS \ (crown) \ circle with rosette and INDIAN TREE \ WA & CE \ IRONSTONE" Impressed mark "REAL \ IRONSTONE \ CHINA" William Adams and Sons Tunstall and Stoke, Staffs.
