Manufacturer printed twice on item "THE J.E. MERGOTT CO. / PAT. FEB 13 1917 / NEWARK N.J". On actual calendar is : "THE J.E. MERGOTT CO. / PAT MAR 15 1927 / NEWARK NJ". Calendar stands up when message pad placed in position. There is a knob which moves across for correct weekday is in working order. Wheel to rotate for correct month is in working order. Printed on calendar is : "ADAMS MOTORS LTD / PERTH / WILLYS-KNIGHT / CARS AND TRUCKS / WHIPPET CARS". Came from old mud brick house in Williams, W.A.
