Two paper and embroidered Christmas cards made and sold in France for armed forces during 1914-18 War.
a) 'A Happy Christmas' with embroidered house, trees & bird. Fabric section opens like envelope and inside is small card 'To my dear mother'. On back of Christmas crad is 'To my Dear Mother from Bob' in indelible pencil.
b) Similar to (a) decoration is black cat & holly Christmas Greetings'. Inside - small card 'To my Dear Sister' printed. On back of embroidered card 'To my Darling Edna from Bob' in indelible pencil.
