Front - painted Dutch scene with windmills in background and two men with boats in foreground on a canal.
Back - Dutch family (mother and two children in traditional Dutch costume) watch ships sailing and men preparing nets.
Side - man, woman and little girl in traditional Dutch costume with windmill and canal in background (left). In distance three women also in traditional dress and also fold out figures, stand in front of the boat (right).
Below - needle threader in top left hand corner; top right reads 'AKRA/45'. Gaps showing coloured foil and needles. Inside: left - pink with 9 needles; centre - brassy coloured foil; right - foil is gone.
Inside - Top - green foil holds four large needles left hand side. Right hand side - brassy coloured foil contains nine small needles. Cardboard is yellowish buff colour. Contains two receipts. Small one reads 'G.J. COLES & COY. LTD/ (INC. IN & VIC) MURRAY ST./ DEC 14 22 0.19.11'. Other receipt from Christmas's Newsagency, 441 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park. Dated 13 January, 1962.
Along with a flyer for the election of a general president for the Australian Pensioner's League (WA Division Inc.) 1964/5. Reads 'VOTE: SEARLE, W.R.'.
