a) Black, fine wool?. 8 outer ribs and 8 inner ribs. Straight stick. Cane handle with silver covering on end. Carved pattern on silver plus silver marks and makers initial. Lion passant, leopards head, and letter "l"? indicating date of 1926. Makers initials 'E.H.F.' metal ferrile. One inner rib marked 'The Armstrong Regd British Make'.

b) Black silk. 8 metal inner and outer ribs. Straight cane stick, straight plastic handle (imitation ivory) with round plastic ball on end. Hole through handle with silk carry cord. Imitation ivory ferrile and imitation ivory balls ? on end of outer ribs.
