Probably a "carriage" parasol. Green silk cover with upper section of cream silk with flower design. Pinked, scalloped edges at join and outer edge of cover and lining. White silk lining. Dome shaped. Wooden stick, painted white, collapsible; brass tube marked: "LEWIS/&/ALLENBY". Wooden handle continuous with stick. Ivory ferrule, 3.3cm long. Whalebone ribs. Green silk tassell threaded through tip of ferrule.
