Brown silk cover embroidered with green and cream. Pagoda shape, achieved not by flattening of ribs (Anne Buck p181). Ribs end below spring and fabric end below ferrule. Metal stick. Carved ivory handle decorated with tulip leves. Carved ivory ferrule decorated as handle stem, unscrews, 8.3cm long. Metal inner ribs, can outer, ivory rib tips.
