TROUSERS, navy blue, breeches with 3.3 cm width black braid stripe. 2 front pockets, button-up front. 2 suede patches on inside legs. 4 black buttons on outside front at waist. 2 brass inside at back. Buttons: "HOBSON & SONS \ LONDON". Worn by D. Spedding-Smith on duty in the north-west of W.A. Dress regulations indicated that he may have been Superintendent (although badge appears wrong - more like that of Sergeant.)
