Information supplied by June Swann, world authority on historic shoes visiting from UK, during her inspection of shoe collection 18th October 1993.
'Kid leather. Pale grey. Back strap (i.e. piece down back of heel); fingertip toe; undercut Louis heel. narrow throat. Unworn - unsold stock. c. 1910 probably - would have been very old - fashioned in 1930 (suggested date) - arch is somewhat 1930.'
