DIVING SUIT: 218cm high, shoulders 80cm wide and helmet breastplate 42cm deep. Rubberised canvas with rubber cuffs, rubber gasket for the attachment of the helmet and reinforced rubber patches for feet, knee, groin area and underarm. Very heavy reproduction hands fitted into rubber cuff and fibre glass head (with beany) and shoulders fitted onto helmet.

HELMET: Brass with glass windows, leather covered rope around neck. Helmet and corselet of pearl diving suit. Composed of copper alloy (possibly brass) with rope threaded through loops at the base of the bonnet section. 12 screws with wingnuts attach the corselet to the suit. 3 round glass windows in the centre, left and right sides. Small round valve, with perforations, that unscrew on PRS window. Back has attachment for airline. Rope threaded through the loops and appears to be of a fibrous plant and has a leather cover which has been sewn in place to hold the leather ends together. Inscription on front of corselet reads: '7312 / C.E. HEINKE & Co / LONDON'

BOOTS: Leather with wood inner sole/lead iron and wood outer sole. Copper plating around edges with brass toe cap and rubber tyre section over toe.
