PORTABLE DESK & KEY, wooden
CH1970.324
Portable wooden desk & key, rectangular with gold coloured metal binding around enternal edges. Has a keyhole on one side. Imbedded gold-coloured metal pattern in centre of desk lid. Hinged along long edge to enable lid to lift. Inside of lid and half of inner desk is green material, which contains a keyhole. Front inner third of desk composed of various small compartments segmented by thin strips of wood. Includes paper with handwritten telelegraph.
