In 2023, the WA Museum received report of an unknown shipwreck at Green Islands, Buller, Whittell & Green Islands Nature Reserve, from Jurien Bay Marine Parks, Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA). The 2023 site inspection was able to identify the site as Miss Phoenix, a crayfishing vessel, burnt and abandoned off Green Islands in 1961.
