Between 25 and 30 June 2012 the Western Australian Museum’s Department of Maritime Archaeology undertook a maritime archaeological survey of shipwrecks and maritime infrastructure in Cossack. Over two days on 27 and 28 June, a photographic and archaeological survey of the Cossack seawall was undertaken to document its current state, and provide a baseline for future surveys to assess any future cyclone and/ or storm surge damage, and to inform future heritage management decisions.
