Introduction
This report describes the archaeological activities carried oul in the field during January-February 1987 by an expedition funded by the Australian Bicentennial Authority to conduct investigations into the wreck of HMS Sirius at Norfolk Island.

Previous reports bave assembled some background about- the ship and the findings of a preliminary examination of the site (Henderson 1984). and described the field activities of the February-March 1985 expedition (Henderson and Stanbuey 1985).
