The site consists of iron rider knees or ties and concentrations of iron bolts/ fastenings wedged amongst rocks in the intertidal zone, visible at low tide. May be the remains of an unidentified wreck of around 300-500 tons found in 1877 that is possibly drift wreckage washed ashore.
