Five adjoining fragments of sacrificial planking that make two (probably was one) larger fragments, and five small chips of wood that have fallen from those two larger fragments. Poorly preserved; very acidic and crumbly. Sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern. Exterior surface: rounded nail head impressions.

Two fragments of undiagnostic hull timber. One with two treenail holes: one with treenail and one partially preserved.

Originally six fragments of sacrificial planking; now fourteen. All very acidic and crumbling. Sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern. Exterior surface: rounded nail head impressions.

Fragment of frame timber with four treenail holes (two with treenail preserved), and one iron nail shaft (square in section).

Fragment of hull planking. Exterior surface preserved with sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern. Also one pegged treenail preserved, pegged on its exterior. Interior face: no original surface preserved. Possible square nail hole next to treenail on interior surface.

Barrel staves + 1 end piece

Fragment of hull planking (scarf end; flat scarf). Wood poorly preserved and, due to acidity, exploded in many small pies. Scarf end is nailed onto the joining scarf end by two nails; one closest to tip has nail head concretion preserved. Both perpendicular to the planking's thickness (tip was nailed down, this indicates a bottom-based construction method; otherwise it would nailed into one of the underlying frames). Nails square in section. Planking surface: one bolt hole, round in section, and nail hole next to it, square in section. Exterior surfaces: sheathing nail holes, square in section, closely spaced in diagonal or alternating pattern.
