To support A Day in Pompeii the Western Australian Museum has developed a range of activities for the whole family including lectures, a community-based exhibition and activities for the kids.

  • FRIDAY NIGHT - A NIGHT IN POMPEII

For those who would like to visit the amazing A Day in Pompeii exhibition by night, the Western Australian Museum will open its doors each Friday evening from 30 July until 9.00pm.

The late night viewings bring a special ambiance to the Museum and exhibition experience.

Enjoy Friday evenings with family and friends by viewing the exhibition that transports visitors to the fascinating world of the Roman Empire. View over 250 objects that include life, trade, death, ritual and burial practices of Pompeii - and the poignant body casts of people and animals as they faced their final, tragic moments during the eruption.

After the exhibition relax with friends and family and enjoy a glass of vino and mouth watering Italian-inspired food by the Museum's hospitality partners Heyder and Shears Exclusive Caterers - catering for adults and children.

Normal ticket prices apply for A Day in Pompeii late night openings, and are on sale now through BOCS Ticketing; Adults $20, concession $14, children $12 and family $54.
