Host your clients and staff at the stunning WA Museum, before experiencing a private viewing of the A Day in Pompeii exhibition and the immersive 3D theatre experience that depicts the tragic end to the once thriving town of Pompeii.
Choose from venue hire packages in either the Pompeii marquee or the Hackett Hall foyer; and combine with a food and drinks package, to create the perfect Pompeii function. Venue hire includes private access to the A Day in Pompeii exhibition, the 3D theatre, and substantial discounts off A Day in Pompeii merchandise.
All catering is supplied by the WA Museum’s exclusive caterers, Heyder and Shears.
Pompeii Marquee
The Pompeii Marquee sits in the Beaufort Street courtyard surrounded by the striking limestone heritage-listed buildings of the Museum. The marquee's soft lighting and theming reflects true Roman style.
Included in Pompeii Marquee package:
- 2.5 hours venue hire any time after 5.30pm in the Pompeii café marquee
- Exclusive access to the A Day in Pompeii exhibition to the 3D theatre between 6.00pm and 8.00pm
- Guests to your function will receive a special discount of 10% on exhibition shop merchandise and the official exhibition catalogue
- Background music
- Security and service staff
- One free car parking space with in Museum grounds for functions organiser/VIP
- A dedicated function coordinator to help you arrange your event
Minimum 60 guests, maximum 80 guests with 50% deposit required on confirmation on event. Total cost $1950, all inclusive.

Hackett Hall Foyer 2 hr function
Hackett Hall Foyer is the spectacular entrance to the Western Australian Museum - Perth. An extraordinary design, its towering glass atrium is sharply contrasted against the tranquil backdrop of the Museum's original historic buildings
Included in the Hackett Hall 2 hour package:
- 2 hours venue hire any time after 5:30pm in the Museum’s stunning Hackett Hall Foyer
- Exclusive access to the A Day in Pompeii exhibition to the 3D theatre between 6.00pm and 8.00pm

THEMING AND SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS

TOGA FANTASTICA!
The toga was a typical item of clothing in Ancient Rome. Why not gather your staff together for a themed toga party they will never forget. Contact the WA Museum to organise a Toga Fantastica event for you and your staff.
Special conditions:
Functions packages are available for new bookings held between, Saturday 29 May – Saturday 4 September 2010. Please note bookings are NOT available on Friday nights for the duration of the exhibition. 50% deposit required on confirmation on event.
