Brightly coloured in red, green, blue, pink, yellow and gold. In centre is written: "CERTIFICATE OF MERIT \ Granville School \ Myrtle Lewis \ Passed in every subject, 1 Class \ at the Inspector's Annual Examination, \ Held September 1903 \ Signed A. Nicholls, Mrs? Head Teacher". This is bordered by flowers and various coloured lines. At the bottom of the certificate is printed W.C. Rigby, EDUCATIONAL PUBLISHER, ADELAIDE.
