Girl's dress made for the museum's W.A. Sesquicentenary travelling exhibition, 'Challenge'.
[.a] Dress of bright pink raw silk; round neck trimmed with band of tartan; high waist, gathered skirt trimmed above hem with band of tartan ribbon in browns, pink and grey and narrow brown velvet ribbon.
[.b] Shoulder strap belt of same tartan trimmed with brown velvet ribbon and edged with pleated grey taffeta.
Part of ensemble with petticoat CH1985.97 and drawers CH19845.98; dummy in Display Dept store.
