Fairly heavily potted, relatively opaque ware. Creamy appearance although glaze appears light blue in pools. Painted pattern around rim and into centre with gilded foliate scrolls and scrolls in ferric red. 3 Medallions of green and purple grapes. Nairn has marked plate with a sticket indicating Miles Mason as maker.
