Marks: Action rhs 'CROWN/ VR/ BSA & M Co/ 1895/ CROWN ARROW/ I/ 1'
Butt RHS 'WA/403' (in circle) BSA & MCP/ WD/ II/ II'.
Brass trapdoor in steel buttplate.
Modifications: Fore end wood shortened to just after middle band. Nose cap missing.
Bore: Rifled. Round barrel shape.
Fore: Ramp Barleycorn.
Rear: Folding leaf.
Calibre: .303
Charge/Projectile: Cordite Black powder/ Cupro Nickel.
Ignition: Centre fire.
Action: Lever, single shot.
Serial no: 16 marked under forewood.
