Hallmarked: (lion)/b/(king's head) and WEWF=London, 1817-18, William Eley and William Fearn makers.
On the outside curve of the handle is engraved the Lockyer crest: On the sea a ship, (the three topsails hoisted, proper, the main-topsail charged with lion, rampant, gules, the fore and mizen topsails each charged with an ant, proper, a red ensign).
