White with clear glaze. Finely potted. Scalloped gilded edge. Band of green links interspersed with pink ribbons? on inside and outside edge of cup and edge of saucer. Printed mark in ferric red on both 'ROYAL CROWN DERBY' ove crown and (symbol) \ (symbol) and 'ENGLAND'. Pattern number '8169'. Also on saucer impressed mark 'DERBY \ 1 - indicating January 1911. (symbol)-shaped year cypher also indicates a date of 1911. Ref: F. Brayshaw Gilhespy & D.M. Budd Royal Crown Derby China pages 25-6.
