With scabbard.
BLADE; Type: TANTO, Mei:'mumei',Nagasa: 41cm overall fixed hilt, Sori: slightly 'uchizori', Sugata: 'hira tsukuri, iori mune', Hada:'Muhada', Hamon: chrome-plated artificial suguba, Horimono: 'bo-hi', Boshi [tip]: Ko Marv, Kissaki[retirn]:short, the tang not visable. Kitae: 'muji' [no grain]. Blade straight, single edged curving towards point for lower 8cm. Single groove near back edge Brass band top 1.5cm.
HANDLE; quillion curved down at back, up at forward side, brass furrule and top decorated with cherry flowers. Rayskin grip wire bound with brass/gilt wire cherry flowers.
KOSHIRAE; Type:Kaigunto, Saya: laquered black leather over wood. Gilded brass uchi gane and kojiri with cherry blossum, Tsuka: white 'same' bound with gilt wire, Fuchi/kashira: en suite with scabbard, Menuki: gilded brass cherry blossom, Tsuba: adaptation of Western style guard. Overall length 41cm.
