White glaze. Medium-light blue and white transfer pattern - variation of the willow pattern. Gold band on spout base, lip, teapot edge, on handle, on knob and edge of lid. Lozenge registration mark on base. No factory mark. Nairn number 106. Nairn thought possibly Minton, but this must be very uncertain. Willow pattern too widespread to decide.
