Narrow shaped jug. Closely potted stoneware. Moulded frieze below rim. Mottled brown ground to body with moulded and applied cranes. Moulded mark 'BROWNFIELD & SON \ (2 interlocking globes) and TRADE MARK (crossing) \ lozeng registered mark for 29 March 1879 \ YEDDO 12'. Listed in Christies sale catalogue of 16 August 1979, lot lot 226.
