a) Certificate and b) medal awarded to Captain Robert Grant Rennie by Kaiser Wilhelm II after rescuing the crew of a German cargo boat, oil laden, which was on fire in the North Atlantic - 14th Oct. Certificate given 4th Dec. 1909. Medal to "HERREN KAPITAN ROBERT GRANT RENNIE FUHRER des DAMPERS EARL OF CARRICK \ AM 14 OKT \ 1909". Certificate translated in the Mullawa Mail & Magnet, 29 May and 5 June 1942.
