BELL, Ship's - S.S. "MATTHEW FLYNN"

CH1974.177

Given to the school by a diver, "Sharkey" Nelson and was used as a school bell. Nelson was a deep-sea diver on the wreck of the S.S. "Matthew Flynn" somewhere off Cape Naturaliste. Used as a school bell for some years whilst Mr A.E. Williams was Headmaster.
