Binoculars, around smaller lenses: "FIELD AND MARINE / GLASS" "DAY AND NIGHT / ACHROMATIC". Black painted and ? brass fittings. Brown leather case, lid stamped "E. ARUNDEL" twice, lined with green baize. Belonged to William Henry Timperley 1833 to 1909. Superintendent at Rottnest Island from 1883 to 1890, Senior Inspector of Police at Geraldton 1877 ca.
