Brass telescope with four extensions. No maker's marks. Black leather casing and black leather covers for each end. Belonged to William Henry Timperley 1833 to 1909. Superintendent at Rottnest Island from 1883 to 1890, Senior Inspector of Police at Geraldton 1877 ca. Telescope reputedly used at Rottnest
