PAPER PUNCH, 2 Hole
H1989.787
Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Wooden plate cut in shape of base of punch; punch attached by 2 screws in centre, one at back to wooden base. There is an arrow to indicate centre of page to guide user. There is room for a substantial thickness of paper: the punch is heavy and lever is depressed at a considerable angle: obviously a heavy duty 2 hole punch. "ESO" is in relief lettering at back of nickelled surface, underneath lever. There is a hole through the wooden plate: tin is visible through here at front edge of wooden block, visible edge of this plate is bent upwards to allow gripping and pulling of this sheet of tin, thereby emptying punch of spent paper circles.
